Macadamia Natural Oil for Mature Skin

Many people today are not even aware that macadamia natural oil can be used to care for mature skin. If signs of aging are catching up on your skin at an alarming rate, don’t fret because you can actually reverse this process. Well, not actually reverse as aging is a natural biological process we go through but at least you can actually slow it down so you can enjoy yourself even more. If you have been an avid user of over-the-counter skin care products like skin lotions, creams, or serums,  and are less jubilant with the results you are getting from them, you might want to try making your very own skin care oil blend. And why macadamia oil?
Macadamia oil is the perfect carrier oil to use when trying to come up with your very own skin care oil blend. This only means to say that it is an excellent base oil, that when you mix an essential oil with it, such as grapeseed or apricot kernel oil, they mix well together and enhances their natural properties that is beneficial to mature skin. If water is the universal solvent, macadamia oil may be considered as its counterpart because it mixes well with other types of oil.
As we advance in age, our skin tends to gradually lose considerable amounts of essential fatty acids. These essential fatty acids are essential in keeping the skin at the pink of health and your complexion smooth and radiant. As our skin loses its essential fatty acids, it will eventually lead to the weakening of its natural protective barrier, therefore it can easily lose more moisture than it should. When this happens, other forms of issues on the mature skin will soon follow to appear such as sagging,  discoloration, uneven texture, fine lines, and wrinkles.
While you, unfortunately, don’t have the power to put a stop to your aging process, it doesn’t mean there’s nothing else you can do about skin maturation.  You can actually do something so you will age more gracefully.
Skin Care Oil Blend for Mature People
As earlier mentioned, macadamia oil is an excellent carrier oil to use if you want to make your own custom oil blend. It is an excellent source of palmitoleic acid, which is also known as Omega 7,  a natural fatty acid found naturally on the skin surface. As a starter, make use of 1 part of macadamia nut oil and mix that up with 2 parts of lavender oil. Now lavender oil is perfect here because of its anti-redness properties and has a calming effect, too.  Mix them well together and let it sit overnight before applying it on your skin. A thin film of this oil blend to your skin is good enough to moisturize it. In 2 weeks time, you will see dramatic improvements on your skin tone and texture.
You can make use of this oil blend as your personal massage oil, or use it as a nightly topical oil application to your skin. When you massage yourself with this macadamia oil blend, the palmitoleic acid (together with the other essential fatty acids found in macadamia oil, linoleic and linolenic acids) will work in unison with the natural lipids found in your skin. This action will be of substantial help in replenishing the natural protective barrier in mature skin and keep it from becoming dry by preventing moisture loss.
Regular use of this oil blend on mature skin will eventually lead to a rejuvenated and hydrated skin surface.  Aside from lavender oil, you can also add in other kinds of essential oils to further intensify its skin nourishing properties. You can try adding as well apricot kernel oil, carrot oil, jojoba oil among others
With your own skin care oil blend of macadamia natural oil, you can start minimizing your use of over-the-counter skin care products like lotions and creams. And see the difference that only natural oil blend can deliver.
